I'm your State Farm Agent since 2009 for Conover, Newton, Hickory, Maiden, Catawba, Claremont, Taylorsville and the surrounding NC and SC areas. I'm a State Farm Insurance Agent born here in the Carolinas. My office is located in Conover, NC at the I-40/Fairgrove Church Rd intersection. I am married and have 2 beautiful children. Gardner-Webb Go Bulldogs! I'm a current member of the Catawba Valley Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis Club & MDRT. Over the years my agency has qualified for awards including State Farm Ambassador Club, State Farm Honors Club, State Farm SVP Club, State Farm Chairman’s Circle and the exclusive Million Dollar Round Table.

My name is Michele York and I am from the wild and wonderful West Virginia, where all my family are from. When I married my husband John, I moved to NC and have lived here ever since. Prior to that, I moved around a lot and lived all over the United States. I have 2 grown daughters; Stephanie and Morgan, both are college graduates like myself. I have earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Healthcare Administration, but even with all that I worked for almost three decades in auto industry as an Internet Manager and a Producer for Stellantis (Mopar). I have since moved out of the auto industry into insurance; where I am licensed in Health, Life, Property, and Casualty (auto). In my free time I love rock crawling and seeking out muddy trails with my off-road "Family" in the back woods. My husband and I spend time fishing and hunting on our time off and love the OBX!
